Doctors

Manage referring doctors with clinic details, referral codes, commission rates, wallet balances, and verification.

What doctor records are used for

Doctor records support referral tracking and partner relationship management. A doctor record stores name, email, phone, clinic name, referral code, commission rate, wallet balance, verification status, and lab company. This helps the lab track referred orders, calculate commissions, and distinguish verified medical partners from unreviewed contacts.

Doctor records are scoped to the lab company, not to one branch. This allows the same referring doctor to work with multiple branches of the same lab.

Doctor information

The doctor form begins with lab company, name, email, phone, and clinic name. Name and email are required. Email must be unique. Phone and clinic name make the record easier to verify and contact.

When creating doctors from inside a branch tenant, the lab company is filled from the selected branch and disabled. This prevents staff from accidentally assigning a doctor to the wrong company.

Affiliate program

The affiliate section contains referral code, commission rate, wallet balance, and verified flag. Referral code is required and unique. It is the tracking value used to connect referred work to the doctor. Commission rate is a percentage from 0 to 100. Wallet balance is shown in EGP and disabled because it is calculated or maintained by finance-related workflows rather than manually typed in the doctor form.

Verification should be used as an operational control. Verify doctor credentials before relying on the record for active referral or commission work.

Table and filters

The doctors table shows name, email, phone, clinic name, referral code, commission rate, wallet balance, verification status, and creation time. Email and referral code are copyable. Filters include lab company, verification state, and minimum wallet balance.

Use the wallet balance filter when preparing commission review. Use the verification filter to find doctors who still need credential or relationship checks.

Practical management

Create a doctor record when the lab wants to track referrals, commissions, or clinic relationships. Keep referral codes stable; changing a code can make historical tracking harder. If a doctor moves clinics, update clinic information instead of creating a duplicate record unless the lab intentionally treats the new clinic relationship separately.

Coordinate with finance before changing commission rates. A rate change affects future expectations and may require written agreement with the partner.
