Website catalog

Choose which tests and packages your public website shows, feature the ones you want to promote, and add highlight text and images.

What the website catalog does

Your website lists the active tests and packages from your catalog. The Website Catalog page (in the Website section) lets you decide how each item appears there without changing the real catalog or its prices.

Only active tests and packages are listed. To add or deactivate an item, use the normal catalog pages.

Tests and packages tabs

Use the Tests and Packages tabs to switch between the two lists. Each row shows the name, code, category (tests), and price, with these controls:

  • Visible: turn it off to hide the item from the website. The lab can still run the test; only the website listing changes.
  • Featured: turn it on to highlight the item on the home page and at the top of the website catalog. Featuring an item also makes it visible.
  • Highlight: a short selling point such as "Fasting required" or "Results in 24 hours".

Select Edit details on a row to write the highlight in English and Arabic, add an image, and set a sort number. Lower numbers appear first among featured items.

Find and change many items quickly

  • Use the search box to find a test by name or code.
  • Filter by Website status (visible, hidden, featured) or by test category.
  • Tick several rows and use the bulk actions: Show on website, Hide from website, Feature, or Remove from featured.

Items you have not touched

An item you have never changed follows your default visibility setting on the Website settings page. By default every active item is visible and none are featured. If your lab chooses to show only featured items, untouched items stay hidden until you feature or show them here.

Tips

  • Feature a small number of items so the featured list stays meaningful: your most requested tests and best-value packages.
  • Keep highlight text short. It is shown on a small card.
  • Hide tests that need a doctor's request or special preparation if you prefer patients to call first.

Checklist

  • Your most requested tests are visible and the best few are featured.
  • Highlights are short and written in both languages.
  • Hidden items are hidden on purpose, not by accident.
  • You reviewed the list after adding new tests or packages to the catalog.
