What the Blog page manages
The Blog page manages public articles for the lab website. A post has a slug, status, publish time, cover image, English content, Arabic content, and author. Posts are company-scoped, so each lab company manages its own article library.
Use blog posts for patient education, service announcements, preparation guidance, seasonal health topics, home visit information, insurance updates, or partner communication. Do not use blog posts for private patient information or internal staff instructions.
Content tab
The Content tab contains slug, status, publish time, and cover image. The slug is required and becomes the public route key for the article. Keep it short, readable, and stable. Status can be Draft or Published. Published posts should also have a publish time; the public query only shows posts where status is published and published time is not in the future.
The cover image is stored publicly under the website blog directory and supports image editing. Choose images that match the article topic and lab tone. Avoid using patient-identifiable images unless you have the correct approvals.
English and Arabic tabs
The English tab contains title, excerpt, and rich body. The Arabic tab contains the same fields in Arabic. Both titles and bodies are required. Excerpts are optional but useful for listing pages, previews, and search snippets.
Write each language for its audience. Arabic content should read naturally in Arabic, not as a mechanical translation. English content should be clear for patients, partners, or staff who use English. Keep medical advice general and avoid claims that require a physician's personal assessment.
Table and filters
The table shows English title, status badge, published time, and updated time. Use the status filter to find drafts awaiting review or published posts that may need updates. Search helps locate posts by title.
Review drafts before publishing. Check both languages, cover image, slug, and publish time. A post with published status but future publish time may not appear publicly until that time passes.
Publishing practice
Use Draft while writing, editing, and internal review are still happening. Move to Published only when the article is ready for patients or public visitors. If an article is time-sensitive, set publish time intentionally.
When updating an already published article, consider whether the change is minor or whether the article needs a new date, announcement, or replacement. For healthcare content, stale information can create confusion.
